Transport operator SMRT says that the westbound MRT train on the East-West Line approaching Bedok station was not stuck by lightning.
The MRT train that was struck by lightning on the East-West Line yesterday has been withdrawn for investigation and the driver has been taken to the hospital.
An MRT train travelling along the East-West Line was struck by lightning around 4:00pm today, resulting in a 10-minute delay in journey times.
