More than 7,900 bicycles belonging to embattled bike-share operator ofo were auctioned off at a public sale yesterday.
The Land Transport Authority will proceed to take action against bicycle sharing operator Ofo, which still has a fleet size significantly above 25,000.
The Land Transport Authority said it received licensing fees from six firms which will together operate 40,500 shared bikes.
An islandwide QR code parking system will be implemented in January that will ensure users park shared bicycles within proper parking spaces.
