Rail operator SMRT is extending the shorter operating hours of the Thomson-East Coast Line to 1 November to facilitate the testing of trains and systems.
The operating hours of the Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) has been shortened for the June 2010 school holiday period. Its aim is to attract more foreign visitors to Singapore.
