Cycle two abreast if you want but keep to groups to 10 maximum, the AMAP has recommended in its report on on-road cycling in Singapore.
The recommendations include lowering the speed limit on footpaths for personal mobility device users and cyclists from 15km/h to 10km/h.
The Government has fully accepted the active mobility panel's recommendations to boost active mobility, and the new rules could be rolled out by year-end.
Bicycles and personal mobility devices may be recommended to be allowed on footpaths, but the code of conduct proposed also contains rules such as speed limits.
