Local firm KTC Civil Engineering and Construction has been awarded the $418 million contract to build the Sungei Bedok MRT station.
The second Government bus contract has been awarded to a foreign public transport operator, British operator, the Go-Ahead Group.
London-based Tower Transit beat seven other firms including local players SBS Transit and SMRT Buses to win the inaugural government bus contract.
