BMW to head to Art Basel Miami with AI-powered installation

BMW has revealed that it will be returning to Art Basel Miami Beach come 8 December 2023.
This year, the firm will be working with Artist Alex Israel to present REMEMBR, an AI-powered participatory video installation that is said to collect, filter, compose and choreograph the visitor's phone camera content, to guide them on a journey through time and memory in a captivating fusion of art and technology, all said to be inspired by the BMW i5.
The immersive installation across seven custom-designed screens at Art Basel Miami Beach, and guests will be invited to discover the hyper-memories of Alex Israel and, equally, share their own in real time.
Based in Los Angeles, Alex Israel is known for his innovative and thought-provoking work that often explores the intersection of popular culture, art, and technology. This 21st iteration of Art Basel Miami Beach will also see BMW offering VIP car services for attendees.
