The second bidding exercise for the month of January saw premiums having a mild decline in prices besides the open category which continued its climb towards the $100,000 mark.

Premiums for Category A, for cars up to 1,600cc, have dropped 1.1 percent, from $92,100 to $91,010.

Category B premiums, for cars bigger than 1,600cc, dropped $709 to finish at $95,501 after the second bidding.

Premiums for the open category increased yet again - ending at $97,889, a 1.8 percent increase from $96,101 early January.
