Ferrari to host second Legacy Tour

In celebration of the 40th year anniversary of Ferrari's first official supercar, the brand will be holding a GTO Legacy Tour 2024.
40 years ago, Ferrari unveiled its first supercar, the 1984 GTO, at the 1984 Geneva Motor Show. The car has since also grown to be known as the 288 GTO. The term GTO refers to 'Gran Turismo Omologata', with the latter word being the Italian term for 'homologated'.
In celebration of this milestone, Ferrari will be holding the GTO Legacy Tour this year. This tour is the brand's second Legacy Tour and will take place on both 1 October and 5 October 2024. In 2023, the maiden event was F40-themed, and saw 39 teams heading from Forte dei mari all the way to Maranello.
The tour will start off at Val Rendena before heading to Maranello again. There, participants of the tour will be welcomed to the Prancing Horse headquarters. Ferrari says its Ferrari Classiche's experts and some members of the original GTO development team will then share exclusive information on the car. Beyond that, there will also be a display of the GTOs inside the factory.
The tour will end off with a parade at the Fiorano Circuit.
