The brand with the four rings has recorded a five-fold success at the presentation of the Fleet Awards 2007. The Audi A3, Audi A6, Audi A8 and Audi Q7 gained first place in their respective categories. The Audi A4 rounded off the results with a highly respectable second place. Armin Villinger, Head of Sales to Key Accounts for Germany at AUDI AG, commented: "These outstanding results demonstrate that our model range puts us in a position from which we can continue to satisfy the needs of fleet operators. It is this success with customers that has made us the most successful premium manufacturer of recent years in the fleet market."
The esteemed Fleet Awards are conferred annually by the specialist magazine "AUTOFLOTTE". Some 5,000 readers of the magazine, in particular key decision makers from fleet management, voted for their favourite fleet models. In the "lower midsize class" category, the choice was clearly not difficult: the Audi A3 was declared winner for the fourth time in succession. Also for the fourth consecutive year, the Audi A8 took first place in the prestigious "luxury class" category. The Audi A4 this year gained a highly respectable second place in the "midsize class" category. Its big brother, the Audi A6, managed to repeat with aplomb its victory from last year in the "upper midsize class". The A6, the best-selling vehicle in the upper middle class, was thus voted the most popular model in the premium fleet market.
A year after it was launched, the Audi Q7 has already claimed pole position in its class. It was voted most popular SUV by fleet managers, successfully beating off established competitors.
