Hyundai to debut next gen Pleos Connect on newer models

Hyundai Motor Group (Hyundai) has unveiled the Pleos Connect, a next gen in-vehicle infotainment system designed to fundamentally transform its customer mobility experience.
Heralded as the first step in Hyundai's transformation into a software-centric mobility leader, Pleos Connect is built on three core development pillars - intuitiveness, safety, and openness - to combine a mobile-friendly user environment with advanced AI.
The system will receive continuous feature and performance enhancements via over-the-air software updates.
The Pleos Connect cockpit features two main displays: A large central screen and a slim display. The former is divided into three main sections - a driving information screen, app screen, and bottom bar - while the latter presents key information like speed, media, and turn-by-turn directions.
Driver safety is enhanced through the physical buttons on the steering wheel and below the large central screen, allowing quick access to key controls without using the touchscreen. In addition, a three‑finger gesture allows drivers to easily reposition app windows or instantly close unnecessary apps.
Hyundai has said that this Pleos Connect system will debut on its new vehicles in South Korea later in 2026, with the end goal of equipping approximately 20 million Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles with the software by 2030.
