Infiniti Dynamic Drive 2011

The day started with a briefing that gave the media an insight to the Infiniti brand, as well as the technological features and development that went into the brand. But that was only a teaser for what was to lie ahead.

Members of the media also got to test drive the M37 sedan around a specially-set circuit at the Changi Exhibition Centre, which showcased the car’s dynamic driving abilities, aided by features such as Active Steer four-wheel-steering, as well as the Intelligent Brake Assist.

Aside from the driving features, the media also got to check out the impressive audio technology, developed in collaboration with Bose, which features on all Infiniti cars. Bose and Infiniti aims to provide the best sound experience in their car, with the Studio Surround Sound System, and Active Noise Control.

Following lunch, the media were invited to a press conference with members of the Red Bull Racing F1 team, including Chief Designer Rob Marshall, and ex-Formula One driver and consultant to the Red Bull team David Coulthard. The team shared their thoughts about the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix, as well as Infiniti’s collaboration with the Red Bull Racing team.

After the press conference, David Coulthard drove the press around the same circuit that the press pack had experienced earlier in the day. Despite the hard driving and tyre-smoking aggression that Coulthard displayed, the M37 proved able to the cause.

Infiniti will be officially launched in Singapore in December 2011, with three products to kick start their entrance, namely the M37 sedan, the G37 Convertible, and the FX crossover, which is available in FX37 and FX50 guises.
