Karma Automotive, the California-based creator of luxury electric vehicles and high-tech incubator, has unveiled its new E-Flex Platform.

Karma's versatile E-Flex Platform will allow vehicle manufacturers a faster entry into the electric vehicle market at a substantially reduced development cost, as the current costs required to develop, test, certify and build a new electrified platform remain prohibitive.

The new platform is a highly versatile chassis that will be able to offer new electrification and mobility solutions ranging from autonomously-driven utility vans to everyday driver vehicles and high-performance supercars.

Karma's first showcase of the highly-flexible platform will be via the company's 2020 Revero GT extended-range electric vehicle (EREV). As part of the E-Flex project, additional EREV platform offerings, platforms for battery-electric-only vehicles, and proof-of-concept vehicles will be showcased in the coming weeks.
