Lamborghini has revealed a new, one-off 'Opera Unica' Huracan Sterrato, complete with a special crystal-effect paint inspired by the seas and skies of the island of Sardinia.
Unveiled to guests at a special 60th anniversary dinner even in Porto Cervo, the special car is another creation by Lamborghini's Ad Personam department, and combines the brave character of the off-road sports car with a three-colour hand painted finish that delivers what Lamborghini describes as a crystal effect in frozen liquid.
This finish is achieved by first spraying on Blu Amnis as the first solid colour, which is them etched by hand with a second Blu Grifo paint and a third Blu Fedra colour, in a process that takes over 370 hours to complete.
This unique paint on the 'Opera Unica' Huracan Sterrato is finished with matt black parts including the roof, sills, front light casing, and the front and rear splitters and fenders. The car also gets its wheel-arch protection painted in matt black, to pair with 19-inch matt black rims.
On the inside, the car features exposed carbon fibre on its seats (upholstered in Blu Delphinus leather), door panels and centre console. The dashboard, meanwhile, is finished in a specially-dyed Alcantara, and the car gets a start-stop button cover that is finished in the same crystal-effect paint as the exterior.
Like all other examples of the Huracan Sterrato cars the interior of this special car also carries a special plate denoting it as one of 1,499 in a limited series. These will go with special plates that come with the text 'Opera Unica Porto Cervo 2023' finished in the crystal effect paint that celebrate Lamborghini's 60th anniversary.
