Lamborghini has taken the Urus S across Taormina in Sicily, Italy, with clients from Europe and the Middle East during the fourth edition of its Esperienza Terra customer drive programme.
The exclusive 12-day event saw the performance SUV crossing more than 160km of road and dirt, allowing all on the drive to experience the diverse character and luxury of the Urus S guided by Lamborghini's professional drivers.
Lamborghini's clients that took part in the 12-day event also got the opportunity to drift the Lamborghini Urus S in a private quarry Those on the trip also got to soak in the Sicilian landscape, Mount Etna included, as well as the island's hospitality, as they were hosted in superlative hotel and dining venues.
This stay was accompanied by an unexpected modern art experience provided by native local Artist Alessandro Florio, who painted a bull created in his own unique Sicilian style finished only on the final night of the drive. This artwork is set to be displayed at Lamborghini's headquarters in a special 60th anniversary exhibition.
Clients also experienced a dinner overseen by Michelin-starred Chef Massimo Mantarro, inspired by the unique flavors and aromas of Sicilian cuisine.
The drive also offered a unique opportunity to hike on Mount Etna with a guide to the top, which was followed by lunch at the Podere dell'Etna Segreta, an ancient estate originally owned by Benedictine monks.
