Andy Pfeiffenberger, the vice president of Lexus Europe, has revealed the company is considering a new entry-level crossover in order to target the population interested in smaller SUVs than the RX, which has currently snapped up by the likes of BMW X1 and Audi Q3.
Speaking to AutoExpress, Andy Pfeiffenberger said the area of the brand's range below the RX will see some development "over the next few years." Details on the new model are scarce at present but it is reported to be a hybrid, given their parent company Toyota;s ongoing development and advancement in that field.
We sure don't know what "a few years mean" but it is unlikely that the production version will be made availlable in the coming year or two so fans may have to be patient for it.
