Lexus has announced that customers of its all-electric RZ450e in the U.S.A will be offered an elevated charging experience.
The firm is working with electric vehicle charging network ChargePoint, as well as home charger installation and electric vehicle solutions firm Qmerit to offer customers new options for easy charging.
Participating dealers will offer customers the option to purchase a ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger at the dealership or directly from ChargePoint online. This charger is Wi-Fi enabled, and can be installed either indoors or outdoors, and comes with a seven-meter charging cable to support various parking configurations.
For public charging, customers of the RZ450e guests will also be able to tap into ChargePoint's extensive public network of Level 2 and Level 3 direct current chargers across North America. The vast network of charging stations offers EV owners access to more than 80% of charging spots in North Americ. Customers will be able to access via the Lexus app, which will also enable easy locating and payment.
