U.K. brand Milltek has developed performance exhausts for the popular Volkswagen (VW) "bus" range, namely the T5, T6, and T6.1.

From workhorse to show pony, there is a Milltek exhaust to suit all three aforementioned models, with options including discreet downturned outlets or Twin Oval pipes with a choice of black or polished tips.

Among the wide range of VW Transporter models catered for by Milltek, there are performance exhausts for the 199PS 2.0 TDi and 148bhp, 178bhp, and 201bhp 2.0 BiTDi turbodiesels, and 148bhp and 201bhp 2.0 TSI petrol engines, plus many more.

For VW bus owners with diesel engines, Milltek's unique Active Sound Unit (ASU) technology adds an external speaker and phone App that offers 11 selectable sound files to let the driver adjust the pitch, tone, and volume of exhaust sounds coming through the speaker.

Milltek has also said that the ASU tech can be used on both front-wheel drive and 4Motion versions of the T5 and T6.
