The Paceman is essentially a coupe version of MINI's Countryman, and MINI says that the Paceman appeals to "young, modern, extrovert urbanites" who want to stand out from the crowd. The Paceman is still officially just a concept car, but MINI hinted that it could be heading for production, as it "could become another building block in the ongoing development of the brand and its product portfolio."

The Paceman has a bold front end design, a sloping roofline, and 19-inch alloy wheels t highlight its sporting pretentions. Inside, the Paceman has seating for four, with leather upholstery, a full-length center rail system, and unique door panel trim.

Under the bonnet, the Paceman is likely to be powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 208bhp and 260Nm of torque. Like the Countryman, power will be sent to all four wheels via a permanent all-wheel-drive system in the Paceman.
