Multi-car collision on CTE causes massive jam

An accident involving several vehicles just before the entrance of the Cairnhill Tunnel caused a massive jam on the Central Expressway (CTE) towards the city on Friday morning, the 19th of January, The Straits Times reported. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) tweeted at about 9:50am that the accident happened after the Bukit Timah Road exit, informing road users to avoid lanes one and two.
The congestion is said to have stretched until the Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 exit at about 10:13am.
