Next gen BMW i7 will feature Rimac Tech's tech

Rimac Technology has announced that as part of its technology partnership with BMW, the next gen BMW i7 - set to make its world premiere at the 2026 Auto China on 22 April 2026 - will be the first BEV from BMW Group to feature a jointly developed battery system.

This collaboration is based on an equally impressive operational achievement. In just a few years, Rimac Technology has built an entirely new production facility, industrialised two full production lines, and established an end-to-end supply chain capable of meeting the demanding quality and volume requirements of a premium global OEM.
