Polestar has announced that it will be rolling out new features for its Google built-in infotainment system at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show. The new features are set to be available for the Polestar 2, although they are being displayed at the Google's Android booth at the exhibition in the Polestar 3.
To start, Google is introducing a new feature that allows users to plan trips on Google Maps on their Android or iOS device and simply send the planned route to Google Maps built into their Polestar 2. Polestar will roll out this new feature immediately.
Also set to arrive in the Polestar 2 is the addition of the Chrome browser, on top of the Vivaldi browser that was introduced in 2021. The new browser is currently in its beta testing stage.
