What do you do when you're stuck with a dying Porsche? Well, the owner of this beautiful Porsche decided to donate his 996 911 Carrera with recurring engine problems to his local gun club for target practise. The slightly eccentric owner decided it was better to donate his car to the gun club than to fork out US$20,000 for the repairs needed.
The poor Porsche was towed to the gun range where 140 of the club's members gathered with their weapons of choice. The weapons included magnums, hunting rifles and even a vietnam era M60 machine gun. By the end of the day, the painstakingly built German throughbred was riddled with over 10,000 bullet holes of various diametre.
The club's members were suprised how well the Porsche held up with most bullets failing to penetrate through the car. A testament to Porsche's build quality.
