Porsche has unveiled an updated logo as it marks its 75th anniversary.
The logo has received a few touches designed to modernise it while still preserving its recognisability. Porsche states the new crest will appear on its vehicles starting from late 2023.
The changes to the logo have been subtle. To start, the knurling across the crest has been removed, allowing the 'Porsche' text at the top of the logo as well as the stylised deer antlers at its centre - taken from the traditional crest of Wurttemberg-Hohenzollern - to show more prominently. This is accompanied by the addition of 'Stuttgart' text above the bucking horse. On the red sections of the logo, this knurling has been replaced by a new honeycomb pattern.
Porsche states that its crest has seen numerous updates, which happened in 1954, 1963, 1973, 1994 and 2008.
