The Wind is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre engine that produces 100bhp sourced from the Twingo GT, and the 1.6-litre unit with 133bhp from the Renaultsport Twingo is also expected to be offered. The Wind measures 3830mm long, about 207mm shorter than its rival the 207CC.
This makes the Wind a pure two-seater only, and the front-end styling is similar to the Twingo, with the exception of a new bumper and a recessed bonnet design. The hard-top roof folds down in 12 seconds, without affecting the luggage space, which at 270 litres, is bigger than the Twingo hatchback.
