Renault Samsung SM7 concept previewed

The Renault-Samsung SM7 concept was unveiled at the Seoul Motor Show, and is meant to preview a future production model. The SM7 features an attractive design with soft lines, a prominent grille, and LED lighting units.

The SM7 is understood to be based on the platform of the Japanese Domestic Model versions of the Nissan Maxima/Teana models. This means that engine choices are most likely to be similar to the Japanese cars.

Among the powerplants available include a 2.5-litre V6 that produces 182bhp and 232Nm of torque, and a 3.5-litre V6 that develops 251bhp and 335Nm of torque. Renault-Samsung will release more details of the car closer to its official launch.
