Retro Hyundai models feature in Seoul Vibe

Hyundai has teamed up with Netflix on the new car chase movie Seoul Vibe by supplying some models from its back catalogue from the 1980s. The film is set during the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
It will feature classic Hyundai cars such as the first-generation Grandeur, Pony pickup and Porter light truck. Newer Hyundais such as the second-generation Sonata, Stellar and Cortina will also make an appearance. Hyundai has also provided a shooting location at Hyundai Wonhyoro Service Center.
Hyundai also plans to unveil the silhouette of its all new Grandeur in photographs, through a cinematic digital advertisement in a spin off version of Seoul Vibe. The advertisement will spotlight the evolution and innovation of the Grandeur from past to the future, providing hidden hints about the upcoming model too.
Hyundai is also aiming to launch diverse experiential marketing content on digital channels, targeting millennial and Gen Z consumers and highlighting the hipness of the brand's retro models.
