Against the backdrop of the 25th annual Shell Eco-marathon at the Euro Speedway near Dresden, Germany, Shell Singapore's FuelSave Ambassador Eunice Olsen today challenged Singapore drivers to learn how to cut motoring costs for life, save money - and be rewarded for doing it.
Building on Shell's vision to help customers get the most out of every drop, the aim of this international initiative is to get as many drivers as possible to log on to a website featuring a newly-launched training tutorial, designed to educate even the most savvy drivers on how to save more fuel.
To encourage motorists from all over the world to log on to this digital training programme and benefit from it, the first 100,000 drivers who complete the training will receive a cash-equivalent prize. Besides Singapore, the other six participating countries in this initiative are Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Malaysia, The Netherlands and Turkey. "I'm very encouraged to see that Shell is dedicated towards teaching drivers how to use less fuel. This initiative that aims to empower 100,000 motorists with the necessary information to help them save fuel for life, and walk away with a reward at the same time, will hopefully enable drivers to realise that minor adjustments can certainly go a long way," said Shell FuelSave Ambassador Eunice Olsen. Singapore motorists who complete the training between 9th May and 8th August 2009 at www.shell.com.sg/everydrop will receive a S$10 Shell fuel voucher. |
