Following Shell's five cents per litre reduction across all petrol grades on 2 July 2026, the brand has also announced that it will be adjusting its diesel prices as well.
This now sees Shell's diesel price go down from $4.05/litre to $3.95/litre, the first time diesel prices have fallen under $4 since the Middle East war.
Shell says this is part of its ongoing efforts to deliver value to motorists, with the brand confirming that it will continue to provide customers with high-quality fuels and diesel, rewarding experiences through Shell GO+, and a network of shell stations where drivers can recharge, refresh, and enjoy greater convenience.
