Local Telco giant Singapore Telecommunications has extended its title sponsorship for Formula One - the sixth year running in a row.

Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) has extended its title sponsorship for the Singapore Grand Prix, including the upcoming 2013 event which will take place between September 20th and 22nd. This marks the sixth year running for the local Telco firm as the title's sponsor.

According to a press release from Singapore GP, SingTel has also secured options to renew the sponsorship until 2017.

Just last year, the race promoter has renewed its contract to host the F1 Grand Prix for another five years, keeping the world's only night race on the calendar until 2017.

The Press Release reinstates that "(SingTel's) unsurpassed reach in Singapore, outreach programmes as well as various platforms such as telecommunication services, mio TV and multimedia products have touch points with nearly every Singapore resident, enabling fans to get even closer to the F1 action".
