Sneak preview of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II
18 Sep 2014|5,621 views
Since its launch in 2009, Rolls-Royce's smaller luxury saloon, the Ghost has become the ultimate symbol of success for a new, younger generation of highly successful men and women around the world.

The most extensive changes lie within the front of the car and the first feature to draw immediate attention is the redesigned headlights. Together with continuous daytime running lights that frame a new and more dynamic shape, the Ghost Series II has a distinct visual signature on its face.
This blends perfectly with revised surface treatments to the front of the car. A tapered 'wake channel' on the bonnet emanating from the Spirit of Ecstasy's wings hints at the car's dynamism, and looks very much like the wake of a fast yacht.
The Ghost's bumpers have also been gently resculpted, and this helps to create a stronger stance and a sense of extra width and height. The contemporary aesthetic is further enhanced with the addition of chrome inserts to the front air intakes, which now feed more air to the front brakes for cooling purposes.

Interior comfort and style are enhanced with redesigned seats. Electronically adjustable thigh supports for front seat passengers complement a new seat structure, enhancing Ghost's unchallenged interior comfort levels.
The Ghost Series II's effortless dynamism is augmented with the addition of Satellite Aided Transmission (SAT), a technology that made its debut in the Wraith. The SAT utilises Global Positioning System (GPS) data to allow the car to see beyond what the driver sees, anticipating his/her next move based on location and individual driving style.
It then uses this information to select the most appropriate gear from the Ghost Series II's eight-speed ZF gearbox to ensure the driver is able to appropriately exploit the 563bhp and 780Nm of torque from the 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, ensuring an effortless and seamless drive experience.
The Ghost Series II is scheduled to arrive in Singapore by the end of the year.
