A Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) spokesman told citizen journalism website Stomp on Friday that the man, aged 26, crashed his car into a CNB vehicle before hitting another car, The Straits Times reported.
The spokesman added that the suspect was linked to a case on April 30th this year where 312g of heroin and three Erimin-5 tablets were found in a car. The man is now in CNB custody and will be investigated for drug trafficking.
A Stomper had told the website that she heard a loud thud from her flat and saw that a blue car had smashed into the road divider. The driver then opened the door and started running away.
She said that four men from another vehicle gave chase and managed to catch the man.
