    Renault has revealed its sixth generation Espace, now with an SUV body alongside plenty of premium touches within its cabin.

    Renault has revealed the first details of its new, sixth generation Espace.

    The car has evolved from a people carrier into an SUV for this generation, and additionally will be available both as a five or a seven-seater.

    Panoramic sunroof is sure to contribute to the overall sense of spaciouness in the cabin of this Renault Espace
    Built upon the firm's CMF-CD platform, the SUV nonetheless promises to continue to deliver generous space and high comfort levels for all, despite sporting smaller exterior dimensions than its predecessor.

    Aiding this sense of spaciousness is an available panoramic sunroof that measures 1,330mm in length and 840mm in width, which Renault claims is one of the largest in the market.

    Those seated within the Renault Espace will also be able to make use of a fully digital instrument panel, paired with what looks to be quite a sizable, vertically-oriented infotainment touchscreen.

    Power for the Renault Espace will come courtesy of a 197bhp hybrid drivetrain that utilises a 1.3-litre three cylinder engine. Claimed fuel economy for this drivetrain stands at 21.7km/L, which Renault states gives the Espace a total range of 1,100km.

    The Espace will also come with 4Control Advanced, Renault's four-wheel steering system.
