Skoda Auto has pulled the covers off its facelifted Enyaq series, with the Enyaq SUV (Enyaq 60) and Enyaq Coupe (Enyaq 85 and Enyaq 85x) now featuring the brand's new Modern Solid design language. Boasting optimised aerodynamics alongside more sustainable materials and extensive standard equipment, the new Enyaq series will also introduce digital capabilities and more advanced assistance systems.
The new Enyaq series comes with even more extensive equipment as standard, such as heated front seats and steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, keyless entry with walk away function, predictive adaptive cruise control, and an electric boot with kick activation.
It will also offer two battery sizes and three powertrain options: The Enyaq 60 and Enyaq 85 each have one electric motor and rear-wheel drive, while the Enyaq 85x comes with an additional motor at the front and all-wheel drive.
In its interior, customers can choose between six distinct Design selections such as the new sustainable Lodge Design selection (which uses eco-friendly materials and orange details) and the new Lounge Design Selection (predominantly grey, combines artificial leather and microsuede with contrasting mint green stitching). Also included is a Suite Cognac Design Selection with elegant cognac-coloured seats covered in leather tanned with olive leaf extract.
Showcasing the brand's Modern Solid design, the new Enyaq features a glossy black illuminated Tech-Deck Face and new Skoda bonnet lettering in Unique Dark Chrome. Even its basic head lights use LEDs for all lighting functions, with the rear lights conforming to the classic C-shape and coming in two versions. It also features large, aerodynamically optimised alloy wheels available in sizes ranging from 19-inches to 21-inches and offers two solid paint finishes and seven metallics, including the new Olive Green metallic paint finish.
As mentioned earlier, the new Skoda Enyaq series offers two battery sizes and three powertrain options.
The Enyaq 60 delivers an output of 150kW (201bhp) and 310Nm of torque with a top speed of 160km/h. The Enyaq 85 and Enyaq 85x both produce an output of 210kW (282bhp) and 545Nm of torque with a top speed of 180km/h. All three variants support high charging rates (165kW for the Enyaq 60, 175kW for the Enyaq 85 and Enyaq 85x), with the Enyaq 60 going from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes at DC fast-charging stations, whereas the Enyaq 85 and Enyaq 85x take 28 minutes. All variants charge at up to 11kW at AC charging stations.
A spacious interior is also coupled with a generous luggage capacity: 585 litres to 1,710 litres in the SUV, and 570 litres to 1,610 litres in the Coupe. A five-inch Digital Cockpit and central 13-inch infotainment display comes as standard.
In addition, the latest version of the MySkoda app introduces several convenient features. For example, Powerpass is now seamlessly integrated into the app, providing access to over 800,000 charging points across Europe. It also features the Lock & Unlock feature allowing users to remotely secure or access their vehicle. Another feature, Predictive Maintenance, uses driving data and the Vehicle Health Report to identify potential issues before they occur.
