Toyota has announced that its Yaris Cross hybrid compact SUV has gotten a refreshed look for its full range, which consists of the Mid, Mid+, High, and GR Sport grades.
With what is described as a "clean and confident update" that is centred on a newly designed front, its distinctive new front grille - with bold honeycomb pattern - is finished in matching body colour. A black lower section combines with the flared wheel arches, while redesigned LED headlamps feature daytime running lights as standard.
It also has new alloy wheels for its higher grades - 17-inch on the Mid+ and 18-inch on the High.
Two new colours have been added to its palette: Precious Bronze will be available exclusively in bi-tone with contrasting black roof and pillars, while Celestite Grey will replace the previous Shimmering Silver option.
Inside the cabin, a platinum colour door trim sits in harmony with the platinum colour strip on the instrument panel. The Mid+ grade comes with a sporty-shaped seat - offering better comfort and lateral support - that was previously reserved for the High grade and features the same platinum colour insert, as well as a contrasting three-tone stitching for a refined feel.
New distinctive features include a front grille with a honeycomb pattern and new alloy wheels on higher grades
A partial‑leather trim, with contrasting shoulder and bolster highlights, is introduced to the High grade. This includes the new and sophisticated SakuraTouch material, which incorporates plant-derived PVC, waste cork, and recycled PET.
Interior features such as ambient lighting and a wireless charger can be found on Mid+ grades and above, while a power back door is offered as standard on the High grade. In addition, automatically retracting external mirrors are standard on all models.
The 1.5-litre Hybrid 130 powertrain is at the heart of the latest Yaris Cross lineup and allows customers to choose between FWD or intelligent AWD. It also coughs up a system output of 129bhp and 185Nm of torque. Meanwhile, customers who want lower power can opt for the Hybrid 115, which is now only offered on the Mid grade in FWD.

As for the highest tier (Sport), it features exclusive exterior and interior features and retuned suspension for sharper and more rewarding handling. This can be seen in its unique front bumper, which incorporates exclusive side pods at each lower end and is enhanced by dedicated 18-inch machined alloy wheels.
Inside, GR sport exclusive suede type sports seats with grey upholstery and red stitching offer a premium feel. The GR logo is plastered on the front headrests and steering wheel, and GR Sport-specific gunmetal silver trim inserts can be found in the doors and instrument panel.
The Yaris Cross GR Sport is available exclusively in FWD specification with the 1.5-litre Hybrid 130 powertrain. Standard equipment includes ambient lighting, wireless charger, Blind Spot Monitor, and power back door.
