In conjunction with the Singapore Design Week, get up-close with the Vanda Dendrobium - an electric supercar named after a genus of orchids native to Singapore.

Visitors to the National Museum of Singapore are in for a treat! For the first time, since its 2017 debut at the Geneva International Car Show, the public can get an up-close look at Singapore's first electric hypercar, the Dendrobium - a Singapore-designed electric hypercar named after a genus of orchids native to Singapore.

Designed by Singapore's very own electric automotive and battery technology company, Vanda Electrics, the Vanda Dendrobium's remarkable design incorporates a synchronised automatic roof and doors opening system, a first in the world, to resemble a fully-bloomed dendrobium flower.

The showcase at National Museum of Singapore's Level 2 Glass Atrium is on till 18th March 2018, and held in conjunction with Singapore Design Week 2018.

For those wanting to find out more about the innovation and design thinking behind this hypercar, there will also be two sharing sessions by May Por - Find the Story, Find the Product (Friday, 16th March 2018) and Sustainable Innovation through Collaboration (Sunday, 18th March, 2:00pm) - who has been involved in the project of the Dendrobium D1 since 2016.
