This is my 2nd car, i can say this is worse than my qq. And once again AMT car.
i do not know why car manufacturer use this AMT for. It give the car alot of pressure as well as the driver. Slow pickup but stable when long run in the express way.

During the 2-3wks of driving, curse and swear due to the logic transmission! if you have driving other auto car.. u will need adjustment, and when you go to reverse and first gear, you have to be patience. The gear do not engaged till u step on brake!
But once i drove the car to Penang and KL .. it was good and stable on the highway.. you will get to feel the goodness of Italian car.. Abarth..! especially when u downhill from Genting.. it is auto low gear engage,..engine brake it use... and good braking and cornering.. overall good car if no major hiccup happen...
just have a power window breakdown and was quoted higher than BMW pricing !!

I brought this car in December 2006. After A month the car gave me problem like Door Can't be open but it's ok when i sent it to TTS To service. Lucky i got Spare car. Acutally Ok Car to own La. Drove it to Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. Going up Genting. I don't use Auto they said that they will give me manual transmission. When i came to collect the car they gave me auto-Manual or Semi-Manual. My bro told me to use Manual. Not so tired then driving a normal car like The Normal Manual Car. No need to press clutch pedal as i told you it's Semi-Auto, Hopes Facelift will came soon. You Buy this Car Worth it Drive malaysia 160-180 No problem. I Brought Some Modfications on the car no problem i see. Great Car to own.

Exterior design is sexy and most importantly, its has 6 airbags and score a 5 in EuroNcap which makes it a safest car to drive at a budget price. Pick up at 1 & 2 gear is slow but once u reach up to 100km/h, you will start to feel the stability of this car (i personally think its better than my wife's benz). Try 140km/h++ at malaysia highway and i assure you that the italian passion will flow in your blood. However not for the ego jacko out there... dualogic transmission is slow in pick up but save fuel. Once u are use to it, shouldn't have much prob.

Only rented car for test riding and conclude its a comfortable ride with that X factor included in the package.
The auto/manual gear system needs abit of getting used to and once you are "there", you will appreciate this baby.

This is one of the worst car that i have ever drive. Why? Because firstly its semi-auto. It can be driven as auto or manual car. This alone is quite troublesome. Sometime when you drive you are scared whether is it manual or auto. Have to constantly check your dashboard whether its auto or manual. Secondly the engine is not smooth. It tends to jerk and there's no power from the 1st gear if you are using auto gear.

Although, the 1.4L Grande Punto is not as powerful as the 1.4L Bravo T-jet (that's why i bought it) i still recommended it to a lady friend.
The Grande Punto is by far the one of the prettiest conti hatch in Singapore. This lady friend of mine told me she's doing 14.5-14.8 km/L on FC. Impressive!
I noticed that there are more & more Grande Punto on the roads & you know what... It's NCAP 5 star for safety & adult protection!

I was in my punto when a Toyota MPV's ass kissed my right mudguard. That toyota has a big dent on her rear bumper...my front mudguard... had a dent too. the size of a 20cent coin?
try travelling on the highway at 160km/h. You will still feel u're going at 90? - smooth and stable ride. powerful for a 1.4l beast.

sporty look but feels like driving a van.very plastic.yet is 70k range.crazy

Beautiful car and very practical for use in Singapore - FC about 14.5km/l to 15km/l. Its styling will definitely outlast any Japanese or Korean mini-cars. Worth paying additional $$$ more than a Japanese or Korean car.

Nippy and swift car
Fantastic Italian design, comfortable seats.
A bit overpriced though.
I'd buy this over a Japanese boyracer hatch anyday.
