The review is for t-jet engine. Excellent pickup from standstill with good fuel efficiency for me averaging 14.5 km per liter. Great on the open road and track, the small engine revs to 19x km/h with minimum drama

Small Hatch with a Small Turbo,
manual stick push the fun factor up.
this car drives well.
brought used and comes with Coilover and some chassis tuning parts, makes the car drives well in the twisty.
Car is heavy but mine still does 11-12km/L on the avg.
2 piece sunroof is nice and the alu roof in between the glass panels makes the car more solid compare to a full panaroof, although a Pana Roof is nicer.
small 1.4L engine packs some punch to it.
aftermarket exhuast helps makes the noise louder
Although parts are not as cheap as a Japanese cars, but this is still okay in prices for parts.

As the first owner of my 1.4M Bravo, and still owning it coming to 8 years, it is testament to how fulfilling this car is to both me and my family.
Back in 2010, I got this at full-spec, i.E. Panoramic skyroof, "Bodykit" And sports rims. Never a day driving my little bella does it not bring a grin to my face - especially when I have the roof open. Its punchy little turbo-charged engine has surprised not only myself, but other fellow road users who could not recognise it at first glance.
Italians know how to grip you with their design, and sitting in the cabin of a Fiat Bravo, you will be pleasantly surprised just how sleek it looks. The piano-black plastics with carbon-fibre style dash wraps around you - accented by the Bravo badge in at the passenger corner. Mind you, all of this was designed back in 2008!
Being a compact hatchback, it does provide ample boot space that you can expect from other cars in its class, but it fits not only my golf clubs but my baby pram as well - so that's all that I really need!
Even now, approaching her in the car park evokes a swell of pride - even if the plastics are starting to get sticky, the cup holders aren't really meant to hold anything larger than a coffee cup, and there aren't many workshops out there who can "Zhng" Her up - but why would you want to mess around with something that's already so good?
Comparing her to my previous cars, the maintenance is surprisingly fuss-free and affordable - not at all like what older folks have claimed that Fiat is "Fixing It All the Time". I guess opting for the 6-speed manual GB was the wisest choice after all - and the most fun I reckon.

1.4M T-Jet
drove the car for about 14month, its a love and hate for this sexy hatch.
the moment you floor the accelerator, you will love this car as the response is almost immediate. There is min turbo lag as the cc is small.
but if you want to own an Italian car, be sure that you have time to visit the workshop for any surprise failure. Be prepare that you will have LOUSY aftersales service from TTS as they can promise you the sun and moon, but after you got your key, they find excuses to fulfil what they promise.

I have driven Fiat Bravo T-Jet from 2007 to 2015. It is one of the best manual cars (previously own Hyundai Accent and Toyota Vios) that I have ever driven due to the responsiveness of the car to accelerate.
On the other hand, the car started to incur more maintenance cost beside the regular maintenance in the 6 to 8th year.
5th year - door lock change
6th year - engine mounting change
7th year - engine, gearbox mounting & gearbox rodlink change
8th year - replace inner roof lining as it drop off

I have owned my Bravo for 2.5 yrs and clocked up about 40k of mileage. So far its exceeded all my expectations. Its still powerful, quiet and comfortable. No rattles at all on the cabin and has a very good stock sound system. The manual gearbox is so easy to use that even my girlfriend can drive it without any problems. The glass roof is also worth every cent as it raises the class of the car several notches and just enhances the overall driving experience especially for passengers. Reliability has been good with no problems. Only strange thing to happen was that the badge on the steering started to discolour but the AD replaced it under warranty without fuss. My previous cars included the Subaru Impreza, Kia Cerato and Lancer 2.0 EX and the Bravo is the best car I have owned by far. My friend bought a Golf 1.4 TSI about the same time as me and although his car feels a class above mine in interior quality the gearbox has broken down 3 times which is really upsetting for him. Bravo rules!

The AD should have do better, aftersales -poor.All the plastic & rubber is of poor quality or it's not meant for our climate. The metal parts in the seats rust, was told all these is normal.Fiat should have do better than this.

Bought this car in year 2010 when the COE value was not too high. After two weeks of driving, my car engine suddenly stalled in the middle of the road. Went back to agent, they said one of the fuel sensor is faulty and it was replaced immediately. Three months later, CD player faulty and only FM radio was working. However went back to agent, replacement can't be made as player have to be pre-ordered from Italty and will take at least one month for delivery. However waited for three months without news, my wife and I went to the agent and we have to vent our anger( knowing the warrenty is going to to be over soon) then they are willing to replace us with a new set. It was then we notice that there is alway replacement CD players available in their warehouse and is whether if they want to replace the player for us or not.
Ten months later, left side passenger power window defective and have to go down to the agent for repair. within a year, my car run battery flat and have to ask for their emergency service to replace the battery at my house multi-storey carpark. This E-service was expensive (Battery + service) as I never know that car battery will ran flat within a year. However the battery they had installed for us was not a new battery because within two months, we experienced difficulties in starting the engine. The Car was again brought back to agent and it takes two visit for them to confirm and replaced me with a totally new battery. In addition, within two years, the car engine mountings have to be changed as the whole car will vibrate vigorously.
After owning the car for almost 2.5 years, I decided to change the car even knowing that the COE is at rocket high. My car did not fetch a good price at the present high COE value as most of the agent would not wish to take in this car brand.
Although there are quite a number of de-merit points but I personally do enjoy the ride, especially the torque and speed the car can produce and the top notch interior quaility (sound system, Italian interior design etc).

This car got styling and character, the interior reflects it. Feel good. The exterior look inherits fiat sporty look, my got leather seat which felt luxurious. The dual panaromic roof useful for sightseeing drives and add to the sporty feel. The engine felt solid and the engine tone is sound refine. Overall the car handle well for 1.4 turbo. The features is good with airbags, asr, steering assist, the instrument display got the sports car style .

No regrets ever since I bought the Fiat Bravo 10 months ago except for some minor problems like power windows(had to send in for servicing ever since i bought the car.) and CD player LCD ocasionally just disappear on you. =)
Overall performance is great in terms of its stability while onroad.

After doing some research and going thru the reviews I brought the Bravo T-Jet. I have been driving the car for about months. However I am disappointed with its road handling and acceleration. Now thinking of changing my ride soon.

Got it for 1.5mth so far, travelled 1800km. Have never regret my decision. Its got great power for a 1.4L, feels like a 2.0L. Love the interior being cosy and quiet. Looks tame like a hatch babe but its a wolf in sheep's clothing!

I have recently purchased the Bravo T-Jet 1.4 Manual Version and I have got no qualm or whatever about the car. All I can say is that this is one hot hatch that greatly deserved a serious consideration if performance is what you are after. Althought the Bravo may not be the best choice for everybody, it definitely augur wells for me. As compare to VW Golf TSI, the Bravo T-Jet may not get as many thumbs up or approval from the masses, but as the saying goes, the beauty of the BRAVO lies in the eyes of the beholder. The VW Golf may be iconic, but this hot hatch from ITALY is nevertheless a worthwhile consideration in terms of engine specification and performance, if we will to justify our comparsion. It will be fruitless if one will to make a comparsion between a 2.0 VW Golf GTI and the 1.4 Bravo T-Jet, as not all cars are design and build the same. Get what you love, and love what you get.

Have owned this car for 6 months.
Was looking for a 2nd car for the missus. Test drove Peugeot 207/308, Ford Fiesta and also the Fiat Punto. Basically the Fiat Bravo wins hands down. Bought the 120bhp Auto(actually its semi-auto). Lurve the car to bits. It handles like a real italian hot hatch should. Driving experience - Lots of brio, the car just zips into corners and along the way you get a great engine note. Most cars are usually surprised when I suddenly pickup speed to dart (of course safely) into the next lane. Pickup is remarkable for a 1.4 engine courtesy of turbo charging. You also can change gears whilst in auto mode if you find that the car is not changing gears fast enough for your liking. Interior is comfy and very classy- Got mine with two tone red leather to match red exterior. Panel and gear stick glows red at night.
High EURO NCAP rating. Exterior design is molto bellissimo... Also changed my rims to 17 inch.

Fiat Bavo is one of the more comfy car i have owned. In terms of safety i am sure that i am safe while driving. Was driving a Korean car for almost five years. Not to mentioned about depreciation prices, just wear and tear alone is tremendous.
