It was a nightmare that could never end!

Bought this junk in 2012. Sold it after 5 years of ownership.

I have never stereotyped any brand before but for this I will make an exception. Will never ever trust Citroen ever again. Ever. The only thing that was working well since day 1 is the 6 speed transmission box, which is of course used in the same as Lexus. I have driven many makes but this particular brand..Brings horror to my life and family. You have been warned.

A Car That Is Second To None

Review

After our firm decided to trade in our previous car for the new C5 in April 2009, our management was quite concerned over the reliability of the car as we heard of horror stories over the previous C5s.

Surprisingly, after travelling close to 17000KM, the car feels better than the first day and it never fails to satisfy you providing the best rides whether in straight or winding roads. Truly a magic carpet.

I LOVE MY C5 - 2nd Year of Driving

Review

Clocked 18,000KM of driving my C5 into the 2nd Year of ownership. It is unlike any other that I owned that you get bored as the car gets older. This one makes you feel more satisfied growing with you.

As for my C5, I am getting happier and happier each time I step into the car.

The engine is getting more responsive and fuel consumption getting better (around 11KM/l) city/highway driving which is pretty good for the size amd weight.

Truly a Solidly Built French Product with German Precised Quality as per Advertisement in 2008!

A thinking man's car.

Driving the car for around 4 months. It is good, superb in every way. For example the ride. It is very comfortable, gives you sheer driving pleasure!

Handling of car is cool! I mean, look at the steering wheel! It is filled with buttons and controls. Styling is not bad. Prettier than than last model.

Engine is a tad underpowered but who care about it for such a cool car? FC is good! Notbad for a luxury flagship sedan. if you compare it with cars like Mazda 6 or Theana.

Actully, after 5 months of driving this car, I'm getting the hang of it! This car is a LEGEND, A KING! It deserves respect and not to be looked down because it is a car made in France!

The Car Is A Legend

After driving the new C5 for more than 1 year, it never fail me.

Recently at the super flood at Orchard Road, I think my C5 is the only car that survived to get out of Scotts Road. I noticed taxis and BMWs were stranded.

Thanks to the Hydractive 3+ Suspension System raising my car clearance high enough to clear the flood level then.

One Of My Best Cars Ever Owned - A Good Buy; Very Satisfied

Review

I collected my C5 on May 2009 and driven for about 5 months within Singapore and along the North-South Highway to KL.

I must confessed that this is definitely one of my favourite cars besides Mercs, BMWs, Peugeots and Hondas with no problems so far. It is a very high quality built car that the germans are getting to be nervous!!

First of all, the ride is second to none with comfort levels surpassing top marques.

The Magic Carpet Ride comes with Quality Build

Review

The marked improvement in build quality of this Citroen model will make many drivers of past Citroen Xantia, C5 happy. I find the driver seat one of the most comfortable in its class. I personally like the sophisticated instrument clusters but some may find it a little confusing. The ride and handling is superb and fixed steering wheel control (like other Citroens) is refreshing but will need time to get use to it.

A French car that feels like a German-made

My first impression on the exterior was whether this car is a citroen? It looks like a BMW, a Merc and Audi.

My first drive was the ride comfort is definitely second to none of its class. Fantastic. Quiet and Serene.

The amount of features in this car is no less than that found in the merz S-Class.

Interior and exterior definitely does not lose out to BMW 5 series and Lexus 350. Built quality very good and have the executive and lixury feel. One of the best car ever built by french.
