This is the car to go for if you want a sedan out of the norm. Exterior look wise is disappointing (by Renault standard). However, the letdown is overcome by the the features provided. It offers huge interior space, reverse camera (in the latest version), ionizer, electronic parking brake, and comes with massage chair (though i hardly use it at all). Overall i must say it offers pretty good drive, quiet and stable. A very much safe & comfort car for the whole family. The CVT gearbox is not so bad afterall. A lot of guys have criticized it, but i thinks it offers good balance between comfort and performance.

Went to look at the updated version of the Latitude.
Everything is still the same but has the additional features.
- Sun and Moon Roof (with switches to be able to open partially).
- Electric seats on passenger side
- Ionizer (not that I think it will be useful)
- Reverse Camera
Overall, still this is an alternative 2.0L car to get with so many features compared to others you see around.

Tested this over the last weekend. I must say Renault has done a good job in capturing the 2.0L market against its competitors.
The car significantly has more power and price is also cheaper than many of its similar continential makes (although Renault is consider 1/2 asian due to Renault-Nissan).
Don't really fancy CVT gearbox but heard from sales person its an improved version known as CVT-2 where lesser problems will occur compared to predecessor.
Inside, the car is packed with features similar of Fluence...SatNav, Keyless, etc...rear aircon is also a thing to have there too. Besides, I think Renault is the only one that gives BOTH auto headlights and rain sensor where many of the others of 1/2 conti makes only gives one of them. Great !
The rear seats are comfortable and the driver seat is the only make currently equipped with massage feature. Good thing to have if you often have long drives....but don't fall asleep on it when you are driving of course.
Only drawback is no sunroof or moonroof option or as standard feature but sales person say it will be made available somewhere in September 2011 where its certainly worth looking forward to have this. Same goes for reverse camera, for those who likes the camera feature.
The drive was good and quiet, occurs to me like driving a pure conti car...body roll was minimum and overtaking was easy. Gear change was not heard too.
Overall, with the features and price given in comparison to those conti makes out there, its definately a more worthwhile car to own if you don't mind a CVT gearbox.
