Volkswagen Touran Diesel

Gotten a vw touran Tdi 1.6 diesel BMT(bluemotion) come with start stop tech. After comparing with forester, outlander, citroen grand picassso and the renault grand scenic. Yes diesel the rattling rough and tough engine which most people quote. Anyway i went down to test out. Engine started okay rattling open door in the car zero vibration zero rattling u can hear. After many check this model is a 100% German made touran tdi with big sun roof. First of all at the 103bhp after test out with 7 adults include myself and family plus a salesman i feel no different then driving alone the car is still powerful. And it doesnt feel like 103bhp at all. Very zippy just like golf i used to drive a twincharged 160bhp jetta sports to compare i just felt that its alittle heavier then my jetta but its nicer to drive then the jetta sports.. Touran tdi would be cruising on 115kmph my rpm almost just touches 2k so its very FC friendly.. Very smooth drive. Drivers or guys who are keen to buy this car its really a good buy but bear in mind to lower your air pressure at the rear to reduce bumpy-ness as this car is design to load up to 7-8 passenger so suspension is more stiffer then u think. My rear i set it on 220psi front up to 250psi my diesel with a 60litre able to run more then 950 km with 10% Highway 90% Erban.... Its euroV (euro5) standard diesel about to pump it real cheap at smart diesel kiosk full tank around 80$ really full. Able to pump at jb too there is 1 at city square and another just the exit from woodland custom.. Very easy....... Lastly issue with the diesel rattling from engine i would recommand liquimoly toptec 4100 the rattling noise drop 75% Or more and very smooth drive can be use up to 30k before another oil change but i still recommend change after 10k to 15k from vw specs.

Deciding whether to get grand picasso, bmw 216GT , b180 or a grand scenic. End up getting this model after many review from youtube and various of forums of cos with many test drive too. Used to drive jetta sports before getting this touran tdi. Despite having the same torque 250mn but a lower horsepower due to the diesel model, its still feel more powerful compare to the latest new honda odsessy. Ride are pretty comfortable with a extended vw Golf suspension chassis after 3rd gear on highway handling are extremely good with a rear multilink, for this car per tank 60litre with a refuel at 53litre getting me a 880km which i find it pretty good. This car is 100% Build and assemble in germany so expecting a better quailty made interior. Due to its diesel model rattling is expected, to my suprise i dont hear any little ratting in the cabin at all. Definitely a very good buy. Rpm stays on 2k with a cruising speed on 110km which i find it very effenicncy.

Compare driving this car with the tsi version and u will indeed feel the difference in pickup power at a cheaper price.
