Overall it is a nice ride.
Max out BHP for Cat A.
New model is coming out soon which should include many safety features. Would wait for it.

Great drive.. Test drove and put the down payment.. Currently waiting for the COE.
Amazing value for money for the features that is on offer. Bought the high specs model with the moon roof and the auto park capabilities
However the rear seats are very difficult for me.. Too high sitting position and cramped and I am not exactly tall and the rear seats are very upright without ability to adjust
Very tough.. But the other features outweigh it

Test drive before committing is a must, not a bad drive I would say. For a 1.2 litre car. Steering wheel look small and cool.. Good for those that wanted more space in the boot.

After a horrible experience over the reliability with Renault Megane many years ago, I was greatly apprehensive about buying another French car. But the classy exterior and interior design of the 308SW, combined with its price and features, it is hard to ignore especially compared to cars in the similar price range. And after two test drives and comparing with all the other choices available on the market then, we made the decision to take the risk. Come what may...Haha!
It is also the reason why I held back from posting a review but chose to drive it for awhile since reliability is a major if not the key factor for many car seekers. Now after 25K and 1yr+ of use, including a drive all the way to Penang and back, I think it is time.

Purchased in two months ago, and I concluded this was an excellent choice.
Before test driving, I had a stereotype that 3-cylinder, 1.2 litre engine will be significantly underpowered.
I was absolutely wrong.
Between 0-90km/h (which 95% Of time you will be driving in Singapore), the power is more than sufficient to quickly join the highway, take over slower traffic, or accelerate. Honestly I can't tell this car has 1.2 litre 3 cylinder engine, if I don't see the spec sheet. Below 100km/h, it drives like 2.0-2.5 litre engine car. Torque steer is minimized as well, and the car is far beyond expectation on handling.
At this price, there are very few cars (or no other cars) where you will have full LED headlights, front/rear parking sensors with reverse camera (with guideline that shows maximum turning radius), plus a blind spot monitoring system, plus full leather seat, plus keyless entry/exit system, plus auto rain sensing wipers!
Especially the keyless entry system allows you to just "Touch" The door handle (not pushing any buttons), to lock/unlock the doors. Very handy.
2-months ownership may not be sufficient to discuss the reliability, but 5-years 100,000km warranty plus plenty of service coverage is at least a safety net.
Overall, I would like to strongly recommend this car to those who have kids! Very satisfied.

I have collected by on 24 Oct and has been driving around 3 weeks. So far so good. The car is very powerful due to its well mated engine and gearbox and light weight. The boot is one of the biggest in class. Mine is the allure 17" Variant so it comes pack with many features. Fuel efficient will never be that on the spec due to sg roads, i think it's ard 12-13Km/L considering i am quite light footed. The engine noise is also very quiet for me.

Took delivery of my Peugeot 308s in May. Having driven it for the past six months, I must say that there is absolutely no regret. I was originally hesitant to try a continental car, much more a french-made. However, the styling, exterior/interior and performance sure surprised me when I first test-drove it. Not only am I treated to an excellent boot space (obviously since it is a SW), the modern curves and futuristic cockpit added with its surprisingly high-performance engine sure made my purchase worthwhile! To top it all, the sales representative in Autofrance (Joan) is sincere, non-pushy and efficient pre and post-sales.

I've tried over 15 cars in its range and slightly above in a span of 3 weeks. After my previous car gave way on me, the 308SW was the first car on my mind. Got my car within 3 weeks after placing my deposit.
The Peugeot 308SW is the Most Value for Money and the Most Bells and Whistles we can get in its class. I went for the higher specs version which included the moonroof, blind spot sensor, autopark assist, sports mode and 17 inch sports rims.
I love the car for its power. Despite being just 1.2L, the turbo charged engine gave the car its needed power when stepping on the accelerator. There's also a manual shift stick for more control. To Revv it up, we also have the Sports mode to give it a greater boost. So Power wise, it's more than Sufficient. Despite it being such a powerful car, we still get $10k CEVs rebate & due to its 129 HP (1 HP under 130HP), it's under Cat A COE - Double Savings (With the exception of Feb this year when Cat B was cheaper than Cat A).
There are some minuses in this car, but the +ve outweighs the -ves, so you just have to make a call as there is no perfect car.

Took delivery 2 months ago, hit 7000km and the car still feel very solid compared to my previous 5 Japanese ride. No regret buying indeed. 2 ride NS highway to KL.... Must say power and feel really feel amazing for a 1.2L ride, spacious boot for my shopping stuff

As the title reads, this is my first continental car (and it may well be my last hehe). Drove it for one week and I love it so far! Thumbs up for both the exterior and interior of this car. Even though it's a station wagon, it's not like those typical soccer-mom cars. The interior has almost everything, only grouse is the lack of rear seats aircon. Engine performance is good, overtaking other cars on the expressway is a breeze. No comment on the reliability as Peugeot doesn't have good reputation with regards to it. But I'm hoping this is the car to change that.

Drove my Peugeot 308 SW up Genting last month.
Switch to “Sport” Mode and the car feel wanting more. I step on the accelerator slowly and observe and hear the power kicks in, it was indeed powerful and smooth for a 1.2 T engine. Overtaking cars is a breeze. I then switch to Cruise control, adjusting the speed up from 140 km/h to 181 km/h. The car is as steady as a rock and still wants more but unfortunately the straight road ended.
Before KL, there is even a road side candi camera taking the virgin shot of my car.
It time to climb the mountain, overtook all cars including those hell driver – Taxis. Of course I am aware I am not the strongest when a Lexus overtook me. By then, my passenger feel the beat and demand that I slow down.
Overall, it’S indeed a good car with a price comparable to Japanese car. Good Purchase for me so far.

Taken delivery of my new Peugeot 308 SW last week.
Yes. It’S a 1.2 Turbo but its a more powerful ride than my previous 1.6, smooth and quiet power train indeed.
Aesthetic is both very good from the outside to the interior. It’S spacious for all passengers with a very large language area – Boot. One can lower the rear seats flat and sleep inside. The moon roof allows me to spot for UFO as well.
I have been too busy playing with all the features for the past week. From Auto Park, front sensor, cruise, speed limiter, blind spot monitoring, GPS, all kinds of warning alert, vehicle statistic to self diagnostic check.
Fuel consumption must be better if not for the massive jam due to raining days last few days, about 13.5 km/l.

I used to be under the impression that any wagons did not perform as well as their sedan or hatch counterparts but this new 308 SW has proven me wrong.
No offence to French manufacturers but the stigma of French cars is that they aren't the most reliable of cars to own.
But with the amount of equipment jam packed into this beautiful 308 SW, it surpasses many if not all of its competitors for Category A cars. Bravo Peugeot!
