If you would like something that is different from what you see daily, then this is one car to check out. Not your everyday luxury car.
The engine is relatively quiet, it's smooth (for the most part) up to the mid rev range. The DS 5 has enough power for me to overtake slow moving vehicles without much trouble.
It does pretty well while cruising, smooth as long as you keep the revs relatively low and there isn't much wind noise at higher speeds. My favourite part of the DS 5 is its cabin, it's spacious in the front and looks refined.
It does feel sluggish though, like I'm driving a bus instead of a 'sports' car, and there isn't a lot of legroom for taller folks in the rear.
I love how useful and good looking this car is. There are storage spaces scattered around the cabin and at the back for phones and water bottles.
The cabin looks like an aircraft with buttons everywhere which I needed to get used to, but once I did, I grew to love it.
I like the size of the boot and it gets even bigger when I found the seats down, an operation I find extremely easy.
