I recently hired a Mokka X in the UK for a week. I had a manual petrol engined model, but a lot of my comments should also apply to the diesel version available here
Overall, the driving experience was very disappointing and it was a joy to get back to driving my Golf here.

The Mokka X is a real joy to drive in the city. Thanks to its compact size, it is able to lane change effortlessly and isn't fazed by tight spots. Needless to say, parking is a breeze.
Quick and precise steering allow the Mokka X to take on corners with confidence and little body roll.
Boot space in the Mokka X is modest, but makes light work of grocery runs.

The Mokka X is not a driver's car. However, it is perfectly capable of getting you around town without a hitch.
The interior of this car really shines through with its stylish design and quality materials. It also has pretty decent equipment that rival cars in the class above it.
Ride comfort is pretty good and fuel economy is great but the drive feels a tad bit uninvolving. Not really a problem for a daily driver though.
