Functional and practical car for family.
But I feel that the front exterior is by far the worst looking Honda vehicle due to the abnormal protruded front bumple make it look really like the nose of the car is being smashed flat which appear like the bonnet is unable to close properly.

Interior is spacious and give comfort to driver and passengers. Car handling is responsive. Comes standard with the Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive technologies including Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning and pedestrian sensing capability as well as Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist.

Went by Kah Motors to see for a friend.
The first looks I can say is glittering which is now fitted fully with LED lights front and back. Comes more curvy looks too with rails and 18 inches wheels making it looks higher as a SUV.
Interior, nicely laid out and with 7 inch touch screen, panaromic sunroof where space is adequate for 7 seats (5 + 2) and 3rd row air con too. Electric tailgate is there as well. Electric seats for both front passenger and driver too.
Inside, its paired with 1.5L Turbo and CVT similar to the high spec Civic.
The drive off was ok, during the cruising in normal mode, gear shifts are quiet which is an improvement over previous generation.
This new CRV comes with Honda Sensing where front assist, side turn (left only) camera assist, lane watch assist, front-rear parking assist too.
During Sports mode, does feel laggy, perhaps its too heavy as afterall its an SUV, even paired with turbo. Honda should consider at least 1.8L Turbo or even a 2.0L Turbo. If to stick to 1.5L or 1.6L, then the turbo has to be better.
Overall, its a sizable SUV to have if you do not mind the turbo lag portion as it comes with many features.

I have now owned the Honda CRV for slightly more than 15months. I had wanted an SUV for more stability and was looking at the new Forester but CO vetoed the purchase.
I think on the whole it is a reliable bread and butter car. I don't think it is that exciting but it does give a sense of comfort and stability. I have the 7 seater version (not that I needed it but specs was only available in this version) so it does give me some flexibility if I need more space. The car is fairly stable at high speeds (~90km/h ... Hahahahahaha!) and sometimes you can get lost in the whole drive which is a good and bad thing.

Drive was ok a little noise when reved. The SE I got didn't seem that eager to sell. The crossover/suv I found to be very strange. Vehicle of this magnitude did not have MEMORY SEATS! How dumb is that?? Overseas variant has got memory seat for the driver side but Spore, NONE. Common Kah Motor, for a 146k+ vehicle you expect only 1 driver to drive? Even more strange, sunvisor vanity mirror there is no light - ON BOTH SIDES? That's so basic Kah Motor?? No wireless charging and only one interior colour - black. So dingy and dark. Kah Motor needs to up its game and not be so oblivious about it. A 62k (with COE) Hyundai Avante comes with memory seats and sunvisor vanity light. If you want to compare apples with apples a Subaru Forester at 116k comes with all of the above PLUS 3 different interior colours! Now dig that Kah!

Owned the 7-seater variant for 1 week. I came from a Mazda2, but also test drove all the Japanese competition (CX5, CRV, Forester, Tucson, xtrail, 2019 rav4) and shortlisted the CX5 and CRV.
For me, the CRV was best balance or price, features, drivability, space, power, utility. Cx5 was better drive (important to me), but lower end trim is underpowered and higher trim overpriced.
Can understand why some reviews say it is noisy. It's noisier than competition at high speeds, but livable, especially in SG. There are also some irritations like no seat memory on power seats.
The 7-seater is the better deal. The 5-seater isn't a good deal.

They should have kept the CRV at 2.4L.
Downsizing the engine to 1.5L turbo only benefits in reduction of road tax. The CRV does not benefit from fuel economy of a small engine because of its weight, Turbo Charging, etc. In fact it consumes as much fuel as any modern 2.0L to 2.4L engine.
Because of the tiny engine, excessive noise can be heard from the struggling engine. Road noise from tires extremely load.
Ride is uncomfortable and handling poor.
Harrier has a better ride and comfort.

Tested this car with the xtrail. THis has slightly better drivetrain but poor cabin fit and fiish. Pull the seat bottom up and can see sponge already, centere console will wobble a lot if u shake it, no where close to vw tiguan.Last row seats not really usable, go for kia sorento, more power, more fuel efficient, more spacious, more affordable

Test drove the CRV with high expectations.
Shocked by the terrible interior quality and shaky engine performance.
Not a car I would link to Honda branding. The Thailand quality is severely inferior as compared to the Japanese one.

Disclaimer: I am upgrade from a 08 1.3L Honda Fit to a 17' Honda CRV (7 Seater) .. So in term of power, comfort. Space, handling feel, there is no comparison.
I was looking for an upgrade from a Honda Fit to a 7 Seater Car..
Part of my "Review" List include Freed, Sienta, X-Trail. Mazda CX9, Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe..
Mazda CX9, Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe.. Are too big,
Freed, Sienta failed the WAF (Wife Appeal Factor)

I must say that my new ride is a total disappointment.
I have made the wrong choice, was thinking the following choices;
CX9, Sorento & CR-V
Sadly to say that I have made the wrongly choice. The ride wasn't good, whenever goes over low ramp, it goes bumpy and rough. When do a right or left turn, the whole body goes throw by. With the price of $157999 which I have paid, I think I deserve a better car.
The space wise, really suck, third row cant even fit a 7 year old child, and I cant even store my groceries in the boot when the car is full load.
Stupidly, I have to put some of the items at second row.
Guys out there, please consider carefully before you make your decision. Do not be too carried away because you think is Honda and is supposed to be the top inline Japanese car.
I must say Kia really improves.. And Sorento is really valuable for $$$
CX9 is another beast which I find it too expensive to buy, as it priced almost 190K for a 2WD.
Well the only thing I like about the CR-V is the 190HPS and the road tax which in turn, I have enjoyed raving up the car when I'm always alone.

Honda is an all-time favourite car maker across the world as it keeps producing high level models to beat competition in the auto industry. Honda CR-V is one of the most prevailing models of this auto giant. Featuring bold appearance, classic design and compact size, this model complements the taste of every auto enthusiast.
This is a small crossover SUV that comes with innovative technology and ultra-modern features. For superior riding quality, it accommodates high class comfort and handling features.

What you would expect from Honda. Good handling, nice design, nice interior. But for the 5-seater model which costs more than $150k, it is missing features that sometimes can be found in a $100k car
- No auto headlights
- No keyless entry
- No power seats
- No auto-tailgate
- No front fog lamps

If it is priced at below $130k I believe it will be a lot more popular. At $147k I will put my money on a Toyota Harrier as it’S a lot more comfortable.
Engine is powerful and it’S easy to drive. Brake works extremely well and has a good feel to it.
