The first impression of this facelifted 5 Series - handsome. It really looks good, and made me wondered if it always looked like this. While the changes aren't obvious to me initially, a quick search online shown just how different the car looks. The pre-facelift model's design has aged substantially, looking awfully dated by now.
As mentioned by the sgCarMart reviewer, there isn't a button to turn off start-stop on this car Mild Hybrid version, but honestly, even for someone who hates the jerkiness of start-stop systems, the one on this car is surprisingly smooth. Understand this is due to the mild hybrid system, unlike normal cars where the restarting of the engine is very rough and jarring.
The infotainment system software has been updated to the latest one and I find it easy to use with good looking menus.
Now, as expected of a 5 Series BMW, the interior is quality and well made, lined with nice material. The ride is comfortable, though a little bit on the stiffer side, but it really handles well for a mid-sized sedan.
