Good car, better than expected. `

Just change my car from Nissan Versa 5 seaters to Kia Carens 7 seaters.
Been driven the car for 1 week now, so far no complain, although fuel consumption is more than my previous 1.6l nissan. But it is still acceptable. During breakin period, I manage to get 9.5km/ltr city driving. I am very interested to see the mix driving consumption
Before purchasing CARENS I have been researching for 1 month about this car and comparing it to many other cars, so far this car turns out to be a very good buy.
All reviews pointed to a positive one, so decided to test drive, it feels good
I am station in China and I got fully imported one from KOREA for USD27,000 comes with full leather seat, 2 front seat warmer for winter use, automatic transmission, sunroof, all around air bags protection total about 12 air bags from drive seats to passanger windows. I wanted the one with ESP, however, dealer said need a waiting time of 1 month, so i just go ahead with the one without ESP. Car also comes with 5 years or 100,000km warranty whichever comes first. This really proof that KIA is ready to backup their products. Other makers only 2 years or 60,000km warranty whichever comes first.
I will come up with more review a few months down the road and for now the following is what I can comment on.

Value for money mid-sized MPV `
|
|
Car is very stable and feels like a proper MPV as compared to other more popular MPVs due to its spaciousness and height. The engine is 2 litres and has allowed me to go for a 1 week driving trip to Pahang, Trengganu, KL and Melaka, clocking total of 1500km for the trip.
There were 6 adults and luggages on board, yet i could travel at 140km/hr on the coastal road confidently. Managed to push the car to 160km/hr on straight highway road, with more power to tap if needed.
The car has served me well for over 2 yrs and the drive is still relaxed and comfortable for the passengers.

Carens 2.0 has low petrol consumption `
|
|
Carens is already the most value for money car in Singapore. Current price of $56,111 for the Carens Elite is definitely under-value.
Petrol consumption for my current Carens is quite low and reasonable, compared to other makes.
