What we like
Simplified yet stunning good looks
High cabin build-quality
Holds its own in the corners
What we don’t like
Could have better seats
Imagine what a riot this would be with more power

Anticipating the Next Gen (5) Maz 3 Hatch
Comfort wise, the front driver and passenger shld be adequately comfy with the space and nice seats. Though it lacks the thigh support from other conti.
Handling, it tackles corner with confidence with the G vectoring etc. It inspires you to maintain good speed as you tackle bends.
Reliability wise, it should work out ok. The mild hybrid battery is about 2k and it would likely last 5 yrs at least.
Features wise, its loaded with everything. It lacks touchscreen and wireless android though. Perhaps electric tailgate will be cool too.
Interior design sees a chance for fully digital cockpit.
Engine is where it dont shine with the lack of horses and torque. Perhaps a small turbo will be good.
Exterior styling is simply and perhaps a spoiler will maker it even sportier.
Value for money wise, not so in today's coe climate. Top up 30k or more and you can get a conti already (From Eurokar also)... Read More
Not perfect but very decent
Drove this since 2021 (Astina trim)
Overall really happy with the experience
Likes
Drive - Drives really well for a Japanese car
Exterior Design - was and probably still is the best looking hatchback available
Interior Design - neat and premium layout
Features - tons of safety and quality of life features (blind spot, HUD, 360 camera, etc)
FC - surprisingly decent for a non-hybrid
Great materials all around
CD player goes well with BOSE sound system (though think the newer models do not have the CD player now)
Reliable - no issues whatsoever , just go for scheduled servicing
Dislikes
Engine Power - quite weak but you can tune it ofc
Rear Passenger space quite cramped
Rear View visibility (not the best)
Steering Wheel (buttons crack easily) not sure if this is something common or I am just unlucky
When I got the car back in 2021, its competitors were much further behind in terms of features hence this was an easy choice despite the slight premium in price
Now, rivals are catching up feature wise and for the price point, there are many capable competitors
Still a compelling choice... Read More
