It packs the necessary green credentials, but it's the Ioniq Electric's familiarity and accessibility that paves the way forward into a greener future.

Super economical to drive (especially with high petrol prices) and very comfortable interior. Lane keeping and safety features are all very helpful.

What I like
One of the most economical EV, $20 of electricity can give me 300km even on crowded streets. Usually about 11 kWh per 100km, without any special effort to save energy. The car is also very comfortable, my family always fight over the front seat which has air con. The torque can easily beat any petrol car off the red light. The driver assist features are also excellent for safety.

What I do not like
The exterior of the car is not the most exciting, but it is quite distinctive. Sometimes proximity alarms go off for unknown reasons.

I test drove the ioniq. Not bad.

Can consider it if price goes down. I would take the car but there is this line across the rear view mirror. I guess it's an issue of getting used to it.

What I like
Its quiet
Its efficient. It can recharge when you are slowing down so not a big issue not finding charger

What I do not like
When you look through the rear view mirror.you can see there.is a line across. It is the line at the boot so there are two rear view screens. One above the boot and one below.

If you are ok with it, it's fine. For me its distracting.

Worry to drive up North Malaysia like to KL or Ipoh? You can charge your EV ioniq at R&R Gelang Patah Petronas after bad jam over two checkpoints @ 2nd link. While passing by Melaka, you can stop at the R&R Ayer Keroh Petronas to charge your EV again. If not, You may charge your EV at R&R Seremban Petronas too before you reach KL. Going further like Ipoh? No problem all R&R along the way have EV station in Petronas.

All EV station in R&R Petronas is free of charge. Sign up & Obtain your free RFID to use the EV station. It's Free, it's free & it's Free~~

What I like
Ordinary Family Sedan Outlook & Comfort.
Unlike other premium EVs, those more looks like experimental cars.

What I do not like
The EV range should have be better, hopefully next generation xan boost up EV range to 500km minimum.
