Review
Ah, the PIs have brought in another interesting JDM recently. One of Japan's bestsellers. The Toyota Raize.

I'm leasing one over the year, with much of it being spent driven around as a private-hire vehicle.

It makes for a good conversation starter in the carparks. But, that's as good as it gets. You get to see the points below.

What I like
- DCVT
With the DCVT, there's some saving grace to a ride that's already awful to begin with. Adds a little fun factor.

- Good fuel economy.
I get between 15 to 17.7km/l. 60/40. Don't mind the noisy 3 cyl. engine.

- Surprisingly good storage.
I can fit a wheelchair in the boot in an upright position, thanks to the hidden compartment under the boot floorboard. Also, lots of cubbyholes. The glovebox acts as an inter-dimensional portal, where items just disappear/teleport into the A/C filter area.

- Reverse cam
Adding a reverse cam to a small car that's easy to park. That's a super-win.

- Parking side mirrors
So you don't bua the corners. Very helpful if you seem to keep towards the left on the lane on the expressways. The motorcyclists will definitely be appreciating these.

What I do not like
-Super light body
Strong gusts of wind may rock the vehicle on the expressway.

-Harsh ride
Comparable to a 10 footer lorry. Dampeners, softer suspension setup required. Some popping feel when going over humps.

- Ridiculous amounts of road noise
It's just bad. Really bad.

-No multifunction steering wheel
Unless you get the G spec model I think. Getting the X model is a waste of your credit worthiness and money.
