Kia Niro Hybrid

I have been driving a Nissan Syphy for the past 10 years, couple months ago visited cycle and carriage Alexdrandra road and was served by Dominique Wong, initially looking for a entry level model but eventually persuaded by Dom for a Niro Hybrid SX which comes within alot more smart and safer features, have been driven for 3 weeks and very happy with its performance, like particularly on the smart cruise and the smart registration system.

I recently test drove and purchased the 2025 Kia Niro Hybrid from Cycle & Carriage (Alexandra Road), and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional.

Coming from a Honda Jazz 1.3, I was initially unsure about making the switchâ€"but the transition was surprisingly smooth. The Niro is intuitive, comfortable, and packed with features that are easy to pick up on, thanks in no small part to my sales consultant, Dominique Wong.

Dominique was incredibly patient and knowledgeable throughout the process. He took the time to clearly explain the car's functions, making sure I felt confident behind the wheel even during the test drive. His professionalism and friendliness made the whole experience enjoyable, and it didn't take long for me to decide that the Niro was the right car for me.

The Kia Niro really impressed us with its sleek design and refined, continental-style interior. It drives smoothly, with excellent safety features and plenty of smart, automatic functions that make everyday use so convenient. The tech is intuitive and user-friendly, from the dashboard layout to the driving assist systems. We were looking for a car as we just had a new addition to the family and after researching, we decided to go for a KIA Niro Hybrid EX comfort. The salesperson who attended to us is Dom Wong, and he is highly recommended - extremely detailed, experienced and humble. The car itself is easy to handle, has rear aircon, has fantastic real world FC (we average 4.1 L/100KM or ~1000 KM per tank) and we especially appreciate the car's longer wheelbase (we were deciding between the Niro and the Hyundai Kona hybrid) which translates into more legroom and boot space (super important when ur baby is fussing). Plus the city scape green that we got is such a nice color!

I recently switched from a 2018 Honda Freed to a Kia Niro EX Comfort Pack, and it's been an easy transition. I must commend Dom Wong for the outstanding service he provided. I didn't read any reviews about him or make an appointment in advance, but as soon as my family and I entered the showroom, he was the first to approach us. Unlike many salespeople, he didn't aggressively push for a sale. Instead, he took the time to share valuable information that addressed our needs. There was no sugar-coatingâ€"he focused on what was truly value-for-money, which led us to choose the EX Comfort Pack. It checked all the boxes for us financially and performance-wise.

After 24 hours of careful consideration, we made our decision. Initially, we were just doing some research, and the other Korean brand was also an option, but after visiting Kia, we didn't feel the need to go to the other showroom. Dom kept us updated without us having to chase him, and his 5-star service continued when we collected the car. The service was top-notch from start to finish, and not only was I impressed, but so was my family.

Now, a little about the car. I was initially skeptical about Korean brands, carrying some outdated preconceptions. But after the test drive, I was pleasantly surprised by the Niro's quietness, performance, and overall quality. I never expected this level of refinement from Kia. In addition, the fuel efficiency has been impressiveâ€"I've been able to get over 900 km on a full tank after almost a month of driving. The car's safety features have also enhanced my driving experience, and it's surprisingly responsive when needed, with great stability on the road. Given the current crazy COE prices, this car is affordable and still allows me to enjoy dining out and going on holidays.

I hope I'm not jinxing it, but so far, everything has been positiveâ€"from Dom Wong's excellent service to the car's performance.

At the end of the day, I'd recommend test-driving the car for yourself before forming any opinions.

After driving Kia Sorento for 10 years, i walked into Kia showroom early this year to look at Kia Niro and met Dom. Dom came across as a knowledgeable sales person who could explain the various features of the car, especially the hybrid and safety features of the SX model. And why AIG insurance for your new car. All in all, he has a good grip of car trade, experienced, resourceful, patient and not pushy.

After the car was delivered last month, i noticed the rattling sound when travelling over 90km/hour. C&c actually acknowledged the problem and fixed it on the same day. Pretty impressed, i could now enjoy the solid and quiet drive of the car.

Bought my Kia Niro Hybrid from Dom Wong from Cycle and Carriage. The car is spacious, built with some nice features and drive has been smooth so far. Overall also had a good purchase experience as Dom is knowledgeable, professional and experienced. Great buy for the price.

As for the Kia Niro, it's really the most sensible, feature rich and good looking car in my book.

Was looking around for a family car and was unsure at the start what vehicle to get as there was so many options around. Was introduced to the Niro By Dom Wong at C&C and was thoroughly impressed especially when compared to similar CATA vehicles especially the tech and build quality. It was super spacious inside and the test drive was done professionally by Dom. He brought us through different road conditions and got us to experience the car's ride quality and road handling. After one week of driving, no regrets with the purchase. Smooth ride everyday.

I have been driving the Niro hybrid for two weeks. The drive is smooth and it has a good pick up. I love the Auto Hold feature as it allows me to take my foot off the brake. In case I am distracted and not notice the car in front of me driving away, a gentle alarm goes off to alert me. The process of buying the Niro was as smooth as the car's performance. For this I must thank Dom Wong, the sales executive who served me. He is highly knowledgeable and explained to me in detail the various features of the car. Dom is always a message away in case I have a question to ask. A great help for a new owner.

The Niro SX Hybrid is well equipped with many up to date safely features from adaptive cruise control with land keep assist (keep the vehicle at the center of the lane) which is SAE Level 2 that offer partial driving automation that is so useful on long distance drive on highway and also comes with lane departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot warning and 8 airbags. It's also come with two 10.25" Digital display cluster with support of wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electric heated and ventilated front seats which is so useful in Singapore weather, heated steering wheel and ISOFIX points too. Full LED headlight, rear lights and also front and back fog lights. Electric open tailgate with smart auto tailgate open when key fob is detected with the driver and stand at the back.

Ride is smooth with seamless switching battery and engine with the newer 1.6NA smartstream engine that was shared by its brother Hyundai Kona and Avante Hybrid that come with 129HP (detuned from 139HP) and 265nm combined torque. Acceleration from a stop was instant with the battery being use till around 60km/h before the engine kick in. Surprisingly good amount of legroom for the front and back passengers and very good fuel consumption.

Downside are the $17000 price difference from EX COMFORT to SX and even the SX only still come with 16" Wheels by default as compared to other countries that come with 18" Wheels. Missing features on key fob like remote start and allowing to move vehicles front and back via the key fob for tight parking lot.

Very good mileage.
